Julia has worked with DASIL since its founding in 2010. She has a strong professional interest in data literacy and is the editor of the 2021 book Data Literacy in Academic Libraries: Teaching Critical Thinking with Numbers. As a librarian, her consulting areas include economics, global development studies, peace & conflict studies, political science, policy studies, and sociology.
