Bao Tran ’16 is a Grinnell graduate with a bachelor’s degree in economics coupled with significant coursework in psychology and statistics. As the Post-Baccalaureate fellow, Bao serves as a mentor and consultant for all data-related projects, from software training and data-set preparation to visualizing data and qualitative/quantitative analysis.
Originally from Vietnam, Bao is passionate about the power of data to drive better decision-making and to stimulate positive changes in the community. Her research interests pertain to entrepreneurship, innovation, behavioral economics and decision-making, leadership and organizational behavior, and personality psychology. When she’s not making magic with data, you’re likely to find her trying to replicate authentic Vietnamese cuisine, learning foreign languages on Duolingo, or planning her next adventure abroad.
